Transforming Midtown: What the Approved $2 Billion Master Plan Means for Miami Real Estate 🏙️

Midtown Miami is set to undergo its most significant transformation yet. The Miami Urban Development Review Board has approved a massive $2 billion master plan for a new five-acre mixed-use community called Midtown Park. This ambitious project is positioned to fundamentally reshape urban living at the convergence of Midtown and Wynwood.

Developed by a partnership including Rosso Development, Midtown Development, and Proper Hospitality, the master plan is not just about new construction; it’s about creating a cohesive, walkable, and amenity-rich urban core.

Midtown Park: Key Project Details

The sprawling development will be built in two phases and includes the following key components:

  • Total Residential Units: 924 luxury residential units.
  • Towers: Four new towers, consisting of two 28-story buildings and two 17-story buildings.
  • Branded Residences: Sales are already underway for the Midtown Park Residences by Proper, one of the 28-story towers featuring 288 branded residences, appealing to luxury buyers seeking hotel-level service and amenities.
  • Commercial Space: Over 120,000 square feet of designer retail space, intended to anchor the development and enhance the neighborhood’s shopping appeal.
  • Office Space: 60,000 square feet of new commercial office space.
  • Public Amenities: The plan centers on two major public plazas and a network of pedestrian-oriented streetscapes, dramatically improving walkability between Midtown and Wynwood.
  • Recreation: A dedicated racquet and padel club is planned, featuring 8 courts operated by Ultra Padel, catering to the active, modern Miami resident.

As Carlos Rosso, Founder & CEO of Rosso Development, stated, this project is poised to become “Miami’s most significant mixed-use redevelopment and will transform the future of urban living in the area.” The scale and scope of Midtown Park cement Midtown Miami’s status as a premier destination for luxury urban living.
